Weight Loss can be extremely difficult if you do not know the correct path to take.  On the other hand, if you do everything you need to do, weight loss can be quick, easy, and almost (I emphasize almost!) painless.  Once you get the basics down, you should be able to lose weight consistently until you reach your goal.

The best type of weight loss diet to follow is one that incorporates 5-6 small meals daily consisting of high protein, low carbohydrate, low fat foods.  Eating at regular intervals will speed up your metabolism and cutting carbs from your diet will force your body to use fat for fuel.  By following this type of nutritional program, you literally make every activity you do a fat burning one.  The main focus should be to eat regularly and cut the carbs - it's that easy! 

Exercising for weight loss is relatively easy.  All you need to do is perform some form of energy burning activity for 30-45 minutes a time, 5-6 days a week.  These types of activities can range from going for a walk, riding a bike, playing with the kids, mowing the lawn, a pick-up game of basketball - anything that gets your heart rate up and keeps it there for an extended period of time.  If you're eating correctly, you should begin to burn body fat almost immediately after you begin.  Weight loss will come quick and rapid if you can follow this advice.
